Hi, I’m Jason Stafford, a creative producer, storyteller, and founder of Shoot It Productions & Casting®, L.L.C., as well as LANDOVERLAND, my newest venture celebrating sustainable fashion and adventure.
I’ve always been drawn to the art of storytelling—whether it’s through photography, film, or the pages of a beautifully crafted coffee table book. My passions are as eclectic as they are immersive: consumer catalogs, photo galleries, the beauty of water (and coffee), and anything that inspires outdoor adventure. Fun fact: I collect six types of coffee machines but stick to just two cups a day—though I savor them like they’re part of the creative process.
As a kid, I dreamed big: test pilot, superhero, war photographer. Inspired by figures like Chuck Yeager, Aquaman, Indiana Jones, and James Bond, I embraced their adventurous spirits, shaping myself into someone who thrives on challenges and creativity. If you tell me something can’t be done, I’ll find a way to prove you wrong.
My career began in fashion at 19, working for Barneys New York as their youngest employee ever. From there, the world opened up—I spent years living in seven countries as a fashion model before transitioning behind the camera. I co-founded a talent agency, managed studios, coordinated countless productions, cast projects, and captured my life’s moments through photography. In 2009, I brought it all together by founding Shoot It Productions & Casting®, L.L.C., combining my creative vision with the challenge of producing all types of media content.
In addition to my work at Shoot It, I launched LANDOVERLAND, a vintage resale brand inspired by my love for timeless design, sustainable living, and the open road. Born from my trusty Land Rover Discovery and countless road trips across the West Coast, LANDOVERLAND blends my passion for adventure with a commitment to sustainability. The brand curates re-sourced, high-quality vintage pieces that celebrate timeless style while keeping fast fashion out of landfills. It’s not just a shop—it’s a lifestyle that reflects the stories we carry with us and the impact we leave behind.
When I’m not behind the camera or managing productions, you’ll find me outdoors, discovering inspiration in the world’s raw beauty. ShootIt360 is where all these passions converge. Within these pages, you’ll experience a 360-degree view of my creative journey—from photography to video, digital storytelling, and beyond.
